Katherine Heigl is one of the most gorgeous leading ladies on one of the hottest shows on TV. As Dr. Izzie Stevens on the hit show Grey’s Anatomy, she has garnered much attention and found legions of fans. She has had a very impressive professional career thus far and her star is constantly rising higher. She started as a child model growing up in Connecticut. Her aunt, a hair care products inventor and entrepreneur, took pictures of Katherine at age nine for an advertising campaign for one of her products. Her aunt was so impressed with the result that she promptly sent in the pictures to a few modeling agencies. Wilhelmina, the well know international agency came calling and signed Katherine to a contract. She was soon gracing the pages of magazines and even on a national TV campaign for Cheerios.
Katherine soon made the leap to the silver screen and found that her true passion was acting.
