She then appeared in a series of films that had poor critical reception, including Serendipity, Underworld and Van Helsing. She then appeared as Ava Gardner in the movie The Aviator. Then in the comedy-drama named Click with Adam Sandler. Next, Kate was in the film Vacancy in 2007.
